The thousand and one lives….
Curious about everything, this former musician and photographer from Lebanon has art directed for Chloe fragrances, Ines de la Fressange, Costes and Colette. It's during one of his road trips with his family that he imagined the creative project Lola James Harper. A way to bring together the fields of his life: scents, music and photography. He never leaves without his camera and he is always printing and framing pictures of his travels, often roads and landscapes. "I love poetry. Pictures are just hints to dream and never to inform”, he said. Launched at Colette, it was then Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche that offered him a space in 2014. Lola James Harper creates spaces with friends Kann Design and vintage dealer, Pascale Sgarzi . On the road, Rami Mekdachi meets singers with whom he composed and recorded through the years an album, that will be released in 2019, together with a movie that tells a story of those encounters . A joyful project that appealed to AccorHotels that will turn it into a hotel concept. Music, screening rooms, music studio, a tasting of rare teas and coffees, so we can experience the Lola James Harper way of life from morning to night. One to watch!
