Lola James Harper is launching its brand-new space at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche with a series of exclusive photography exhibitions. Every two months, a new destination, a new story, a new visual universe.  

March / April 2025: "West Coast" 

For this first exhibition, immerse yourself in the luminous and vibrant atmosphere of California. Forty exclusive prints by Lili and Rami Mekdachi celebrate sun-drenched landscapes, endless horizons, and the timeless beauty of the West Coast.  

Each photograph, accompanied by a signed, stamped, and embossed certificate of authenticity, is available in a limited edition, offering a unique opportunity to collect a piece of this visual art.  

These photographs are taken from the films and travels of the Mekdachi family—founders of Lola James Harper: Rami, Lili, Noé, and Céline—who have been on a road trip for 20 years, exploring iconic places and meeting inspiring artists.  

A collection of award-winning feature films and short films, recognized for their direction and cinematography, traces this family adventure… Each photograph captures a moment from these journeys.

Rami Mekdachi is a photographer and film director awarded for his cinematography, art direction and vision carried by his last movie WITH. He travels the world with his family catching time, sharing dreams through his photography, his movies and his fragrance. For him a picture or a scent are just hints, a second in a full story that we have to imagine then. He founded Lola James Harper in 2013 to share his 25 years archives of pictures, scents and souvenirs. Mekdachi was born in the 70's in Beirut, Lebanon raised in Paris, France and lived a few years in Lancaster, UK and around the San Juan Islands, USA.
