" Lola James Harper is a holistic project about art, friendship, family, slow life & sunshine. "

MEET THE FOUNDERS

Rami Mekdachi - Photographer, musician, movie director, and founder of Lola James Harper.

A FAMILY AFFAIR

" Lola James Harper is rooted in a family tradition. The Mekdachi family, passionate about art and travel, has always been able to narrate their olfactory universe through a range of eau de toilette, home fragrances, scented candles, film and photography.

Each family member — Rami and Céline, their daughter Lili, and their son Noé — contributes to making Lola James Harper a unique brand. The eclecticism of Lola James Harper lies in the artistic diversity of the Mekdachi family: Lili captures photographic moments where time seems to stand still, while Noé asserts himself as a filmmaker.

The parents, for their part, create the olfactory notes to echo Lili and Noé's creations and oversee the production. "

THE PROJECT

The journey of Lola James Harper revolves around Rami Mekdachi, the founder of the brand in 2013.
Musician, photographer, artistic director, street basketball player, globe-trotter, Rami is an ultra-sensitive composer: of music, fragrances, films, and atmospheres.

“Photography, video, music, perfume and writing are precious tools to share how marvelous this world is. It's full of incredible scenes, touching and inspiring characters and sounds, moving philosophies and scents. Photography captures the moment, perfume captures the emotion, music captures the energy and words capture history...”

The brand was launched at the mythical Parisian concept store Colette with his collection of candles, including the legendary fig tree scent “Air de Colette”, inspired by his travels, friendships and memories around the world...
As the visionary behind Lola James Harper, the Mekdachi family has transformed the world of art and lifestyle, with the project now gracing over 300 elite concept stores and international galleries.

" Sensorial stories told with candles, perfumes & photography. "
