Over the past 10 years of traveling, the founder has become dedicated to recreating the scents of the inspiring places
he discovers.
"I wanted to share my memories of inspiring and touching places through my perfumes, while still keeping some mystery about them. The idea is to leave room for dreams, to stimulate the imagination through the scent and the mysterious names written on the label, to offer everyone the possibility to dream about these inspiring places that I discovered while traveling around the world with my family."

WE ARE MADE IN FRANCE
BY THE MAISON FRANÇAISE DES CIRES, A FAMILY OF WAX MASTERS, WITH YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN CREATING HIGH-QUALITY CANDLES.
They carefully blend the different waxes and fragrances to create a consistent burn and long-lasting scent. The candles are hand-poured, which ensures that each one is made with care and attention to detail.
We use a unique blend of wax that combines both mineral and vegetal elements, specifically sourced from sunflower and coconut wax. These waxes are sustainable, biodegradable, and emit less soot than traditional paraffin waxes. Our candles feature cotton wicks, ensuring clean and even burns.
Our commitment to ethical sourcing means we never include animal-derived ingredients, aligning with IFRA Standards, Washington Convention, and C.I.T.I.E.S Standards.
"In 2002 I met waxmasters Najim and Elisabeth Boundaoui, and their daughter Mathilde. They are the founders of Maison Française des Cires. I discovered the meticulous art of putting a wick in wax with perfume. I realized how choosing the wick, the different wax qualities, picking between vegetable or mineral elements, while thinking of the interaction with the perfume, is a craftsmanship that requires years of expertise. Najim and Elisabeth come from a family of waxmasters and it's been four generations now that they are in that field."
